MICRO~DEVO 10/9/3014 “biblical boxing?”

Don’t argue about spiritual stuff. It only causes division and makes a spectacle out of believers making them look like fools. Know your beliefs and why you believe what you do. Share your beliefs, even. But don’t fight over it.

Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual pedigrees or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time. (‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬ NLT)

  1. Amen…and with social media being the platform everyone is using to communicate their beliefs, nothing is more embarrassing than to watch people argue over the net…great post and point!

  2. well the gospel is worth fighting over… we should be consistent in presenting it in the most Biblical way possible. Most everything else we can keep to ourselves about…. right?

    • I think there is a stark difference in fighting for what you believe about the Gospel (taking a stand and consistent presentation)- which is what you are speaking of I think, and quarreling over law and useless doctrinal argument. Scripture says that the latter is a useless waste of time and for us not to do it. Therefore I won’t. Do I stand up for my belief? Sure! Am I gonna fight with you over the use of juice vs wine, burning vs burial, jeans vs liturgical robes, or worship style? Not a chance.
